The specialist for non-metallic pumps
The name MUNSCH has been standing for innovation, tailor-made solutions and reliability for many decades. As a manufacturer of non-metallic pumps, MUNSCH is your reliable partner whenever it comes to pumping problematic fluids.
Manufactured by the latest methods, MUNSCH pumps stand for operating reliability, robustness, maximum energy efficiency, excellent hydraulics, ease of maintenance, low lifecycle costs and ease of assembly and disassembly. Rigorous quality management. A big variety of Non-metallic horizontal and vertical pumps, designed for corrosive and/or abrasive liquid applications.
Capacities: up to 1200 m3/h, Heads: up to 90 m, Operating temperature: -20 to 180 °C, Operating pressures: up to 16 bar, Main materials: PFA, PP, PVDF, PE-UHMW, PTFE, Shaft seal: single or double mechanical seal / magnetic coupling
Horizontal pumps with mechanical seal
- Chemical standardised pumps type NP and armoured type NPC
- Close-coupled pumps type NP-B and armoured type NPC-B
These pump types are the solution of choice whenever it comes to pumping acids, alkalis or chemically contaminated fluids in the presence or absence of solids. Typical applications include the chemical and metal finishing industries, steel and stainless steel pickling lines, evaporation and regeneration units, flue gas scrubbing downstream of waste incinerators as well as exhaust air cleaning and scrubber effluent treatment.
Horizontal pumps with magnetic coupling – magnetic drive pumps
- Chemical magnetic coupled pumps type CM in Process design
- Chemical magnetic coupled pumps type CM-B in Close-coupled design
These pumps are the solution for pumping fluids with an environmental or health hazard such as acids, alkalis, solvents or high-value products in the presence or in the absence of solids. Typical applications include the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as electrolysis and electroplating plants.
Vertical pumps
- Pump type TNP-KL and TNP with bearing
- Free running vertical pump type TPC and TNP-C
These vertical chemical pumps are specifically designed to handle acids, alkalines or chemically contaminated fluids with or without solids. Typical applications include the chemical and metal finishing industries, steel and stainless steel pickling lines, evaporation and regeneration units, wet flue gas scrubbing downstream of waste incinerators as well as exhaust gas scrubbing and scrubber effluent treatment
Priming pot
Centrifugal pumps offer many advantages to users. For reasons inherent in their design, there are, however, some particularities that must be taken into account. Thus, horizontal centrifugal pumps are not able to draw the liquid from a deeper level. If the use of a vertical pump is not feasible or desirable, a priming pot can be installed between the suction pipe and the horizontal pump. This provides self-priming capability and allows horizontal centrifugal pumps to be upgraded to self-priming pumps.
