Fire fighting pumps and fire protection systems
We have fire fighting pumps and systems in accordance with EN 12845.
The modular fire protection unit has one or two main pumps with electric or diesel engine, one jockey pump, control cabinets for each pump and accessories.
For example: the system has two main pumps (one working and one spare). The hockey pump maintains the set pressure in the system. In case of fire – the nozzles open and the pressure in the system drops. Due to the pressure drop, the working pump is automatically activated.
If for any reason the submersible pump does not start, which leads to a further pressure drop, the backup pump will be activated automatically.
