Jessberger barrel drum pump
Pump tube made of polypropylene with Stainless steel drive shaft for neutral or slightly aggressive media or with Hastelloy drive shaft for aggressive media such as acids and alkalis. Alternatively, pump tubes made of stainless steel. For transferring low-viscous media such as acids, alkalis and cleaning agents (with pump tube made of polypropylene), highly aggressive chemicals (with PVDF pump tubes). Mineral oil products up to 1,000 mPas (with pumping tube made of aluminum) or flammable media as well as food (with pump tube made of stainless steel 1.4571).
A drum pump consists of a drive motor and the pump tube suitable for the respective application, which stands as an suction tube vertically in the bunghole of a 200 liter barrel or an IBC container and represents the actual pump. In addition to electric motors in 230, 115, 24 volts and 12 volts, air operated motors with a max. 6 bar operating pressure can be used. The drive motors are quickly and easily connected to the suction tube of our drum pump by a handwheel so that different pump tubes can be combined with the same drive motor.
The actual suction tube of the drum pump (made of polypropylene, PVDF, aluminum or stainless steel, depending on the medium) consists of an outer tube, an inner tube and a drive shaft made of stainless steel or hastelloy that rotates inside the inner tube.
